| New Milton Sand & Ballast welcomes all school parties and interest groups to its sites with the long term intention of building on the successful relationships which exist already. Young and old alike can see at first hand how the use of recycled secondary aggregates form an important part in preserving natural resources and thereby help in maintaining the environment for the future generations to come. In addition for some years New Milton Sand & Ballast have provided a great way for local residents to dispose of their dead Christmas trees after the festive period. New Milton Sand & Ballast provide skips within the New Milton area where trees can be disposed and then recycled into a mulch compost. The best news is that this mulch is available for collection from Manor Farm, Pennington free to all New Forest residents – watch out for the signs! New Milton Sand & Ballast is in full support of the regeneration Project of New Milton Town Centre by part funding the Town Development Officer for the three year contract until 2008. New Milton Sand & Ballast offer support by way of donations or sponsorship to a number of community and charitable based projects. Examples: Oakhaven Hospice, MENCAP, Milford Carnival, Hillier’s Arboretum. |
