Environmental Management
We are committed to the prevention of pollution whenever and wherever this is practicable and will seek to integrate environmental consideration and future business policy decisions. The Company holds the BSI Standard for ISO 14001:2015 and has been certified since 30th March 2001.
To maintain this standard the Company senior personnel are committed to keeping themselves up to date on all relevant environmental issues, legislation and regulations thus ensuring the Company’s ability to achieve good sound environmental management.
The Company accepts responsibility for the environmental management and maintenance of the operations on all sites. This includes the planning of transport of material to and from the sites, disposal of waste, and legislative compliance, striving to exceed requirements where practicably possible. We will continually examine our operations to ensure best use of resources and will regularly review all environmental aspects of the organisation.
We will communicate openly with all employees, neighbours, the general public, government, regulatory authorities and all other interested parties to further the shared goal of improving the environment.

Quality Management System
The Company achieved Quality Management system ISO 9001:2015 in 1994 for the production and supply of primary and secondary aggregates from our quarries. The certificate is also held for the production and supply of sand. With the acquisition of Roffey Brothers the Quality Management System was extended in 2012 to cover the manufacture and supply of products to the horticulture, sports turf and amenity industries.
New Milton Concrete Ltd also holds the BSI Kite Mark for the production and supply of Ready Mixed Concrete from the plants at Hurn and Wimborne. Certificates can be sourced through the download tab.
