Getting to know us...

As an independent, local and family-owned business we provide:

Unlike many of our competitors, we don’t need to fully rely on third parties. From operating sand and gravel quarries, to producing our own concrete and offering waste services, we can give our customers an ‘end to end’ service. As a result, many local tradespeople will enjoy lower cost goods – with far less risk of shortage when sourcing stock.

With around 160 staff across sites in Hampshire and Dorset, our operations today include three quarries, four concrete plants, four sites/depots, one recycling centre, two builder’s merchants and our head office, all supporting thousands of customers across the south of England.

During our 86 years of supporting the local community to build, we realise through our growth and expansion that although you may see our trucks daily and know the brand, that many people still do not realise the full breadth of our product range or know who we are as a business. So, we are launching a ‘Getting to know us’ series to explain our approach, our morals, and what we do!

Part One coming soon!
