WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP
OAKHAVEN HOSPICE
We have supported Oakhaven Hospice since 2016. This local charity does so much for the community and is important to so many of our employees too.
To date we have raised nearly £25,000 by holding raffles, football matches and baking challenges, to more extravagant activities like a cycle ride from our Wareham quarry to our head office in New Milton, a ‘Jail and Bail’ activity (which was lots of fun and involved a lot of our customers), and our most recent photography competition and calendar.
Oakhaven Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones in both a home and hospice setting.
THE LIGHTHOUSE CONSTRUCTION CHARITY
As the main industry that we serve, and with most of our teams out on sites all year around, we are also proud to support the Lighthouse Construction Charity.
The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families. A crucial element of their strategy is to provide a wide range of free and widely available pro-active resources to support the industry.
