We are really excited to share with you that not only have we been nominated for finalists in the Builders Merchant Awards – Hard Landscaping Display of the Year, but NMSB has also been shortlisted as finalists in the prestigious Hampshire Business Awards, for Contribution to the Community, and Business of the Year. As well as qualifying to be included in the Solent SME Growth 100, and subsequently being nominated for the Leadership Team of the Year Award.
In what has been an extremely challenging few years, with dramatic energy and fuel price increases, significant supply chain shortages, and industry-wide recruitment challenges, NMSB has consistently delivered. Significantly investing in its teams, technology, customers, and the community, and has become an essential contributor and employer for Hampshire.
Award entries are not something the company has chosen to do previously, but our customers and the community suggested we do, based on the number of initiatives we have supported this year, which for the most part, have been under the radar.
As one of the main mineral providers in Hampshire, often overlooked or misunderstood, the company is vital to the local construction industry and local economy. It is essential to the everyday lives of local residents who rely on us to provide quality, locally sourced products, to help them maintain or build their homes, as well as supporting to maintain the local infrastructure.
Suzanne Wright, Strategy & Marketing Director comments: "From collaborations with local conservation groups, running educational programmes for schools and local community groups, to providing funding, materials and volunteers to help our community, we are extremely proud to have been recognised."
