This page will provide detailed information on the planning applications we intend to make or have submitted for approval by local authorities.

We are active members of the Mineral Products Association (MPA), the industry body at the forefront of introducing new and improved practices.

Planning Granted

Our planning application for the temporary extraction of minerals from some of the site at Ashley Manor Farm, was granted by Hampshire County Council’s Regulatory Committee on Wednesday 13th November 2024. To view the available documents, please click here.

Over the coming months, we will work through the legal agreements and planning conditions, which must be done before mineral extraction can commence. This is likely to take at least two years and comprises many benefits including:

  • An enlarged roundabout,
  • enhanced footpaths; and
  • significant landscape and ecological improvements.

We will establish a liaison group in due course and will provide details on how to register on this page, in the New Year.

We would again like to thank everyone who has contacted us throughout this process. We appreciated the opportunity to share our plans, discuss concerns, and listen to feedback.

Our Application

Our planning application for the temporary extraction of minerals at Hurn Court Farm Quarry has now been submitted to BCP Council.

The application is split into two parts:

  • the Northern Extension of temporary mineral extraction
  • and the retention of the Plant Area in the existing Hurn Court Farm Quarry, for the processing and sale of sand and gravel from the Extension, and the continued recycling of inert materials

Please find the application and supporting documents on the links below, which is now open for public consultation by the planning authority:

Working With The Community

Many thanks to local residents and councillors who participated in our initial consultation events or contacted us directly. We truly valued the opportunity to share our plans, discuss concerns, and listen to your crucial feedback, which has been instrumental in shaping our proposals prior to submitting our application.
