New Milton Sand and Ballast appoints new Senior Sales Manager

It’s all change for our sales team with a familiar face, Luke Watts, being promoted to our new Senior Sales Manager.

“I’m really excited with my promotion to Senior Sales Manager. I’ve worked for NMSB for the past five years in sales and have over 10 years’ experience in the industry, so I’ve got a good understanding of our customers and the local community and I’m looking forward to building these relationships further.”

“The future of NMSB is an exciting one and we’re already in the process of introducing more innovative products and expanding the team”, says Luke.

Providing support to our Concrete team

Luke started off his career in the aggregates and concrete industry on the operational side, where he ran a concrete plant for Hanson. His knowledge of this area of the business is exceptional, having also just graduated from Derby University with a University Certificate in Professional Development: Concrete Technology. Luke wanted to do this to be able to work with our customers to create specialist mixes and further support the Concrete team, and NMSB were happy to assist.

Luke will grow the area sales team to work across all parts of the business, but specifically focussing on developing our sporting and horticultural products and raising the awareness of our merchant business.

Matt Lock, Commercial Director of NMSB, said, “Luke is driving some exciting changes that will enhance the customer experience. NMSB is in a phase of unprecedented growth which brings huge opportunities and challenges. The relationships we build with our customers are paramount and I am confident in what Luke can bring to leading the team to continue this.”
